Who We Are

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Baker. In 1971 my mamaw, Barbara Young, began Young's Upholstery from a book and a whole lot of creativity.  Through the years she and my pappaw, Niles Young, grew it into a well known and respected upholstery shop in southern Indiana.  

 

In 2016, I began apprenticing under my pappaw, learning the tricks of the trade and working my way through the how-to's of upholstery.  With my degree in Interior Design and my love for textiles and furnishing, I fell in love with the business of bringing new life to old furniture. I take a hands on approach, working closely with clients to understand their needs and assuring a quality outcome they will love.
